Great quote from Saturday's
Get Fuzzy. Could not resist posting it:

"You ran by my door faster than a French border guard with track shoes and a coupon for cigarettes."

Lovely.

Half an hour before the end of the day. Going to try and post something. Anything. I'll ramble on as best I can. Can't guarantee this'll be all that interesting, but I must post something. I've been far too lame with this bleedin' thing of late.

'Course, that could be from the complete lack of brain use that's been going on. Between moving and a mindless job, I can't say there's been too much of note to occur upstairs in the past weeks. Hence the silence. Heck, there hasn't even been all that much to hack me off lately. Terribly hard to blarg when you the only things worth ranting about have already been ranted on by others, or even by yourself. And it just doesn't do to harp on a subject too much. Nice to revisit occasionally, like Jonah and the French. But if you rant too much and too often on something, it kinda kills the magick. And the drama. And my readership (if I have any left at all) is far too low already.

The worst part of this mental sloth has been the lack of movement on the novel. I began again, finally, last night, but the break was getting painful. It was necessary, to be sure. When I was working on it, it wasn't moving as well as it ought to be. But after the vacation and the move, there was yet a period of stagnance. Nothing upstairs, nothing en route to the hand and thus nothing but blank sheets of no writing. It was a difficult start, but I'm back on it now. Maybe this thing can actually be finished before too long. More than anything, I hope by writing again, I can actually bloody think again. It would be very nice.

Ah, and there you have it. A real and true post. Mostly me just being whiny over a lack of mental agility, but hey, it's a start.

First post in forever, I know. Sorry. I want to blog, really I do. Work's just been evil. But I will try harder, I promise.

This post, no matter what work I've got to do, could not wait, though.

I hope no one's coined this yet, but from here on, this will no longer be called a blog. Nay. For what better way to descibe a ranty blog than...Blarg! Perhaps it's silly. Perhaps it's just me, but I like it. And so, "blarg" it shall be. And now, since I haven't the time to blarg, I'll be signing off.
